Peep Show Competition: Vis a Vis

The Peep Show Competition brief called for a reusable art venue that fits into a conventional parking space. Vis a Vis offered peep slots along its slatted board skin. One way mirrored glass on the inside of the slats allows viewers to see in but not through the opposite side.

The artwork is exhibited in the infinitely reflected interior. In this way, Vis a Vis defines the peep show as the infinite vacilation between reality and simulacra, between presentation and representation.
